Business Development Support

Dessie Chamber of Commerce and Sectorial Associations is set objectives in which business in Dessie can develop and grow of business community to promotes trade and investment.through bazaar and exhibition,advertisement to strengthening B2B network Notifying important business information Facilitating your ability to share your expertise & experience to Increase your visibility in business environment. Chamber has study on the gabs and the problems in business community as irritating issues that can be solved either through our association or by assistance of other bodies. the main problem within the business community is lack of know how/knowledge and skill gabs in business startup, conducting business operation, networking with national and international business to business relationship, negotiation on business issues, industry or business to business linkage with similar industry

Arbitration

The Legal & Arbitration Service is a department tasked with, as the name itself indicates, affairs relating legal and arbitration. Major services offered by the Department/ Division are:-
• Legal Service:
Advising the Board of Directors, the Secretariat, departments and divisions; Representing DCCSA at courts of different levels; drafting legal documents; extending advice to members of the business community and give the required support to, specially, those embarking on import/export activities; are chief to mention.
• Arbitration Service:
Facilitating forum for arbitration, conducting annual workshop on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Renting out Arbitration room for ad hoc arbitration; are some of the services well undertaken by the department.
• Major Clients
The major stakeholders (clients) are members of the business community, the government and DCCSA’s staff and members.
• Achievements
DCCSA has established an Arbitration center with a designated room with all facilities to carry out the service.
• Partnership
The legal and arbitration center works in collaboration with different stakeholders (Government, Lawyers and development partners)

Facilitating travel opportunities abroad involves a combination of services, resources, and infrastructures that make international travel accessible, safe, and enjoyable for individuals and organizations. Whether for leisure, education, work, or cultural exchange, various factors contribute to enabling and enhancing the experience of traveling to foreign countries.

Training Institute

We Provide different short term training with organized labratories.
1. Basic Computer Skills
Description: Fundamentals of operating a computer, including using the operating system (Windows, macOS, Linux), file management, and basic troubleshooting. Applications: Everyday tasks, office work, and general computer use.
2. Microsoft Office Suite Word: Document creation, formatting, and collaboration. Excel: Spreadsheet creation, data analysis, and formulae. PowerPoint: Presentation design and delivery. Applications: Administrative tasks, data management, presentations.

Trade And Investment

In every part of the world building reliable and credible business networks is not an easy task. This is why the Chamber steps in to fill such gaps for the business communities so as to help them grow by creating business links with potential partners to bolster mutual benefits. Business communities can testify to a variety of opportunities that have come their way through international trade fairs organized by the chamber while networking at such events. Interaction and exchange of ideas is an essential ingredient to keeping up with the dynamic and ever changing face of the business scene and if one is to keep on track the most appropriate mode would be to take advantage of the networking platforms that the chamber offers to its members. The network is being created by organizing and participating in trade fair, exchange of delegation, B2B, among others.

We provide Translation services which involves converting text or spoken words from one language into another. These services are essential for businesses, individuals, and organizations needing to communicate across language barriers.
1.Technical Translation Description: Translating specialized content related to technical fields such as engineering, IT, science, and manufacturing. Applications: User manuals, technical reports, software interfaces, product specifications.
2.Legal Translation Description: Translating legal documents and materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal terminology and concepts. Applications: Contracts, patents, court documents, legal correspondence.
3.Medical Translation Description: Translating medical texts, including patient records, clinical research, medical journals, and pharmaceutical materials. Applications: Healthcare communication, medical research, patient information.
